Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a finance assistant in Bournemouth. The role is 30 hours per week, and the client is flexible on which days you choose to work. This role is primarily homework with a laptop. We would prefer the candidate to be in office (Bournemouth Town Hall) for the first week.

You will perform a variety of technical administrative and function-related duties for the finance department. Your duties include processing payments, administering contracts and monitoring expenses for direct payments. You will be involved in the smooth running of the Direct Payments system by keeping accurate and up-to-date records and liaising with colleagues to resolve queries.

We are looking for a candidate with experience in working in an administrative office who undertakes technical administrative duties, such as drafting letters, account maintenance and reconciliation, processing payment payments, etc., as well as good knowledge of specific functions such as payroll. . Good communication and IT skills are also required.
