Would you enjoy helping top-level department managers keep projects on track? Parsons is now hiring an administrative assistant for our fast-growing team. Parsons’ extensive experience, combined with your attention to detail and willingness to work hard, will propel your career forward. Responsibilities: Collect statistics and general data overviews and combine this information into established reports for use inside and outside the unit. Can develop new reports or review existing reports, as indicated. Such reports can be in spreadsheet or graphic formats or narrative style. May be responsible for verifying the data collected, such as providing invoices from suppliers against file copies. Distribute reports as prescribed by immediate supervisor. Original correspondence and reports that do not require the personal attention of the immediate supervisor. Answer telephonically, record messages and forward them. Receive, sort and distribute mail. May compile and maintain records of equipment, including a log of service dates for equipment. Can initiate requests for service. May obtain basic data for the completion of the unit’s overall budget and compile the accompanying recurring reports. May provide provisional reconciliation, as appropriate. May coordinate physical space requirements for the assigned unit. Start requests for computers and phones, and update the corporate directory as needed. May periodically compile an occupancy report per project or gather information to complete staff reports for the unit and / or various projects, as prescribed by the immediate supervisor. Perform other responsibilities related to this position, as appropriate. Qualifications: High School Diploma 5+ years relevant experience Good written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Good business -Arabic and English and general office practice skills are required. Proven proficiency in keyboard skills, as well as a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet and database software are required.
