Job title: Senior Fees and Debt Officer (EHA2077-0921)
Company: Edge Hill University
Job description: You are a highly organized administrator with excellent IT skills and experience working with financial data, ideally in a credit management or debt management environment. You can deliver accurate, high-standard reports while working under pressure. You have experience with the interpretation of complex regulations and advice.
Your first-class interpersonal skills enable you to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate payment arrangements with debtors and represent the University on debt disputes. To be successful, you are committed to enhancing the student experience by ensuring the most efficient and effective business operations.
About the role
Academic Register is a central support service that serves to provide high quality administrative systems to facilitate the student journey from enrollment to award ceremony. This post is based in the Team Festival, Scholarships and Scholarships.
If you work flexibly within a busy team, you have the main responsibility for accurate and timely invoicing, collection of payments and credit control for your own student group and the broader team. You will oversee payment plans and debt references and ensure that activities comply with the University’s processes and procedures and with the changing requirements of the service. You will regularly report on tuition fee income and student debt to the University’s Directorate Team and play an important role at the end of the financial year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, professional and highly numerical administrator to make an important contribution to an important area of the University.
Rewards / benefits
You will benefit pro rata from annual leave of 23 days plus 13 holidays and closing days per year. We strive to provide our staff with a positive work-life balance and have a range of schemes to support it. Your continued professional development is as important to us as it is to you, and we demonstrate this through our investment in your CPD activity.
You are automatically enrolled in the local government pension scheme and have access to our staff benefits platform, which offers you discounts down the street to help you save money on your daily expenses, such as supermarkets, cinema tickets, dining out and more. We also offer membership discounts on our latest sports and leisure facilities.
