Job description: The role
The HR Assistant works as part of our close HR team and provides extensive office and administrative support for a variety of HR activities.
In this very diverse role, you take on general HR administrative duties, which may include monitoring and responding to inquiries in the mailbox of the HR team, updating and maintaining HR systems, processing new beginners and departures, the preparation of induction grids and new starter kits.
You will be expected to respond professionally and in a timely manner to general HR inquiries, compile correspondence and compile statistical reports on a range of important HR data.
You will want to join our team if you have recent experience of working in a similar HR role and have a natural desire to provide excellent service.
You pay close attention to detail and initiative, qualities that have led to you receiving positive feedback during your studies and / or employment. You are by nature highly organized and have very good communication skills. You also have the interpersonal qualities that have enabled you to form excellent relationships with peers and colleagues so far.
Most importantly, you have experience using Microsoft packages, such as Word and Excel, and you are a confident user of such packages as well as social media.
