Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences, part of the world-leading Accor group, today announced the first Hyde hotel outside the United States, Hyde Dubai Business Bay, near the iconic Burj Khalifa, right in front of the Business Bay canal and promenade.
Hyde Hotel Dubai Business Bay, a five-star hotel, will open in the fourth quarter of 2021. The 276 rooms, all with balconies, will be a mix of gracious standard rooms and luxury suites with views of the Dubai Canal, the Dubai skyline. and the iconic Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world.
Hyde Hotel Dubai offers three incredible culinary experiences, including the Mediterranean concept, Cleo Mediterráneo, contemporary Japanese from Katsuya, handmade burgers from Hudson Tavern. The Perq, a coffee concept, a lounge in the foyer and a Hyde pool & lounge, as well as a spa, male / female salon, a fitness center, a swimming pool and a retail area. The hotel’s public spaces, guest rooms and Cleo are designed by Ciarmoli Queda Studio. Katsuya, Hudson Tavern and Hyde Pool and Lounge are designed by Tristan Plessis Studio.
To always monitor and maintain the optimal stock levels in the engineering stores
Maintain all engineering staff’s daily attendance and payroll forms; and provide it to the Department of Human Resources as needed.
Maintain and update the personal files of the engineering staff.
Keep all records of engineering
Ensure that all contracts, financial records, energy reports, etc.
Oversees and budgets the use of stationery within the engineering department
Coordinates administrative work on human resources, finance and any other departments involved in engineering activities
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily secretarial work, including: typing, filing, telex, fax, telephone, etc.
Ensure that the documents, letters, telexes, faxes, memoranda, information, etc. Distributed in time.
Arrange internal and external appointments with internal customers, suppliers and third party inspectors
Distribute incoming mail, documents, articles efficiently to the engineering firm and to internal and external clients
Assist with the preparation of all report documents, for example energy, utilities
Maintain and service all worksheets for equipment in operation
Apply the policies and procedures of the hotel and the business to preserve the store as instructed by the department management to ensure that the store runs smoothly.
Record daily, weekly and monthly all inventory items drawn from the stores for use by the department, and report irregularities to the management of the department
Ensure that a tracking system is implemented to monitor the inventory and items moving fast / slow so that the store department can operate efficiently at all times
To ensure that all logs, records and dairies of events are filled in correctly and kept up to date
To ensure that the quality of the product and material is of the best standard
Constantly looking for new ideas and product improvements to ensure that the requirements of our colleagues are met
Monitor and report on the progress of any plans or ideas implemented to reduce the department’s waste of resources
Continuously review the department’s performance and activities to stimulate ideas to reduce the department’s costs
Monitor and make recommendations to the department’s management on any diversification of inventory or improvements in store policies and procedures that will reduce operating costs and make the department more efficient.
Encourage the highest possible standard of environmental management
Knowledge of engineering with regard to construction
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational skills and able to perform multiple tasks
The ability to work independently with good human relations
A creative, practical and proactive approach to problem solving
Secondary school + technical college or equal.
2 years experience in administrative assistants in the hospitality industry and / or in an engineering environment
