POSITION SUMMARY

Enter information into computer databases and retrieve it with a keyboard, mouse or trackball to update records, files, discussions and answer queries from guests. Send information or documents using a computer, mail or fax machine. Use standard office equipment other than computers. Prepare letters, memos and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database or presentation software. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamp and inbound mail distribution. Create and maintain computer and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, documents, etc. Compile records of office activities, business transactions and other activities. Enter work-related information using computers and / or points of sale.

Follow all policies and procedures of the business, ensure that the uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, that confidential information about the ownership of the business is protected and that the assets of the business are protected. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to the standards of the business, anticipate and provide for the guests’ service needs, help people with disabilities and thank guests with sincere appreciation. Speak to others in clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer phones with the appropriate label. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable work duties as requested by supervisors.
