About the role:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is looking for a highly motivated administrative assistant to fulfill a wide range of administrative duties, which may include scheduling, coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, answering phones, sending / distributing mail, proofreading, copying and filing. You will keep physical and electronic records. As an administrative assistant you will provide reports, presentations or other high quality documents as prescribed by management. You will be based in Dallas, TX.

You will:

Process internal orders / requests (facilities, travel expenses, office supplies, training, etc.)

Monitor orders / requests using spreadsheets and learn appropriate internal system tools

Coordinate schedules with human resources staff to support department recruitment

Can train new and less experienced employees

The ability to work multiple times while working on multiple priorities

May complete projects / assignments with all levels of management, employees and suppliers

Use business software programs (eg word processing, presentation and spreadsheet) to create correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, etc.

Receive, screen and send incoming calls, visitors, mail and email

Maintain files, records, calendars and diaries; Can arrange business trips, arrange meetings and / or follow expenses

You have:

High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred

2 years related field experience preferred

Excellent expertise service skills to work at all levels in the organization

The ability to work multiple times while working on multiple priorities

Good computer skills, including Microsoft products, with aptitude for various software

Equal training and / or experience may be replaced by any of the above requirements

This position can be filled at different levels based on the candidate’s qualifications as determined by the department.

U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

This position requires additional selection because of the information obtained during the execution of the task. These additional shows would start at the time of accepting the offer and could take two to three months to complete. Work can begin before the screening is complete, but continued employment depends on acceptable screening results. The areas tested may include education / employment verification, criminal history, credit history and referral check.
