Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen within the neurology department at John Radcliffe Hospital to coordinate the activities of the highly specialized NMO (Neuromyelitis Optica) service.
The postmaster will support the multidisciplinary team and ensure a high standard of data quality to make the best use of the service capacity and resources. To ensure that patient and clinical data are appropriately collected, analyzed and reported to the relevant internal and external groups and to make informed decisions about the work practices of the services. You will have a flexible approach and be able to work proactively and sometimes on your own initiative while being confident and professional. You also have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. You also have excellent administrative skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel. Experience in working with patient records and the use of hospital databases and software is beneficial.
The position will play a key role in the development, management and coordination of the services, ensuring that there are robust lines of communication throughout, ensuring the smooth running of the service and providing full administrative support to the clinical team and service management. administrative assistant.
