Immediate opportunity available for an accounting assistant looking for a diverse role

The company

Seymour John is delighted to be recruiting exclusively for an experienced accounting assistant to work temporarily initially as part of this small and friendly funding function, with the likelihood that the right candidate will have a permanent role.

The opportunity

You should mainly include the following:

  • Sales invoicing
  • Discussion in delivery invoices
  • Purchase ledger processing – matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Query resolution
  • Maintenance and updating of records of suppliers and customers
  • Perform any ad hoc administrative tasks in the broader accounting team

Personal profile

We are looking for a candidate who is ideally available immediately or available at short notice to temporarily support the Department of Accounts. You will demonstrate solid experience in transaction finance, along with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize while working under pressure. You will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in a methodical way, together with excellent communication skills, in writing and orally.
