We are looking for an executive assistant and research coordinator at the Academy of School of Medicine 2 (Translational Medical Sciences).
The purpose of this role is to assist and support the Deputy Director of AU2, who is also the head of the Digestive Channel and Liver Disorders of the NIHR-funded Nottingham Biomedical Research Center, conducting academic research. These include diary management, data collection for reports, coordination of reports, literature reviews, assistance in facilitating major grant proposals, facilitating administration of clinical trials, ethics and management in collaboration with the NHS and the Deputy Director for Research Studies of the Deputy Director . .
The role holder will also be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Deputy Director’s office, including an informed gatekeeper and facilitating meetings.
The successful candidate must have excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; be able to work effectively with their initiative and have strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in the administration of higher education and / or a clinical research environment is desirable.
This is a permanent position until 31 March 2024. It is a full-time role (36.25 hours), and arrangements for work share will be considered.
