Salary: Grade 6: £ 29,614 – £ 35,326 per annum (pro rata)
The administrative officer will perform an essential function in the undergraduate admissions and outreach department (UAO) and sit on the administrative team of the UAO. This team consists of the administrative manager; this role; a second part-time administrative officer; the administrative assistant and the executive assistant. This team provides administrative services in personnel and financial processing; executive support to the UAO’s senior team; and office management that supports the management of the UAO and provides essential support to the UAO’s 46 staff members working on various programs and projects.
This role covers the period of labor, and the main focus of the role will be on the administration of financial procedures for the UAO; UAO’s incidental worker administration; and the necessary general administration regarding the management of a busy office. This role is considered an exciting and challenging role.
You will be an experienced administrator who is part of a small, close-knit team. You are self-sufficient and can thrive if you take ownership of projects and responsibilities assigned to you. You work flexibly and are motivated to support our department.

Staff are currently working remotely, but due to return to the site in a certain capacity.
