Job description: Role Summary The office manager is responsible for providing support to the managers of the business, as well as the management of office facilities, financial and HR support, health and safety and meetings. The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to, the areas set out below, and the incumbent is expected to support other office requirements as needed. What you are going to do * General HR administration help with on-board / outboard contact with our HR manager * Manage general maintenance of head offices / maintenance * Order office supplies * Provide EA help to some members of the executive team * Take notes and minutes after meetings * Managing basic IT issues (telephone greetings, telephone setups, e-mail account setups) liaison for daily issues with IT (B4 Networks) provides basic training on copiers * Ensures websites have security supplies * Experience with ERP systems to buy orders, reports * Open and send courier deliveries * Assist with the management of the company’s vehicle fleet, insurance, board renewals Administrative planning of meetings such as Town Hall, Leadership Team meetings and Senior Leadership Group meetings * Continuous maintenance of organizational cards * Create and maintain of a paper and electronic file system * Corporate management live sponsorships and memberships * Maintaining a high level of corporate project schedules for active construction and land development projects * Social media experience with Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Instagram * Easy to use content management systems for websites * Easy to deal with difficult clients, members of the public, traders and consultants work together * Attention to detail * Attendance of community committees’ events and functions, representing the business as required * Act as a representative of the business (concierge) for finance, consultants and legal representatives Requirement: * Five years administrative experience, three as office manager or equivalent * College and / or university experience * Contract and property experience an asset * Excellent written communication skills including spelling and grammar * Some residential topics construction experience nce or a similar industry will be an asset * Skill in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) * Strong adaptability – some evenings and weekends may be necessary * Easy to work in the office but also on site * Effective listening skills * Can build and maintain harmonious relationships * Strong organization, time management and attention to detail skills We are proud to offer our employees what they value most: * Competitive remuneration * Excellent comprehensive health benefits * Work-life balance * Provides continuous training and essential courses to further your career * A culture based on our values of passion, integrity and how to apply.
