Job description: If you help the branch manager with the coaching and development of a team of consultants, you will set the example to ensure that the company’s high standards are maintained. You will use your supervisory experience to support the branch manager in the day – to – day running of the branch by motivating the team to provide exceptional customer service in order to maximize sales and overall profitability. You will be passionate about finding every customer who walks in the door his ideal vacation. With ongoing training, you will be equipped with specialist knowledge to confidently advise on a comprehensive range of holiday packages and tailor-made holiday experiences, as well as a range of complementary and insurance products to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Main responsibilities

  • Maximum sales, while helping the branch manager to ensure the overall profitability of the branch
  • Assist with the effective daily operation of the retail branch and foreign exchange office
  • Assistance with supervision, coaching and development of branch staff
  • Identify and meet the needs of customers by providing excellent service at all times
  • Participation in promotional events and activities to increase the exposure of the branch
  • Use social media to promote promotions, and create customer engagement and sales
  • Lead by example in achieving individual sales goals and objectives
  • The branch manager helps and supports to achieve maximum productivity of the staff, while ensuring the motivation of the staff
  • To ensure you always provide excellent customer service experience
  • Attend management meetings, conferences and other promotional events as needed
  • To ensure that the branch as well as the staff’s appearance meets the company’s standards
  • Perform administrative duties effectively

Required skills

  • Good leadership skills and work experience within a supervisory role
  • The ability to coach, develop and motivate a team
  • Ability to work towards individual and team sales goals
  • Excellent communication and customer service experience
  • Good accuracy and numerical skills with the ability to understand and interpret financial statistics
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude with a commitment to contribute to the growth of the business and to

  • Proficient IT skills

Qualifications / experience required

  • Previous 1 year experience with sales agencies with a proven sales record
  • A recognized travel qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of travel products with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems
